‘The award-winning Dimitri’s Bar and Restaurant is a Manchester institution. It refuses to rest on its laurels and just last month, the restaurant reopened following a massive refurbishment and expansion. The 250-cover restaurant now boasts an expanded cellar taverna, a revamped bar and brand new toilet facilities. However, Dimitri’s has retained its great atmosphere and authentic Mediterranean cuisine, highlights of which include the restaurant’s tapas dishes and mega meze for the extra peckish.’ Manchester Evening News. 'A reliable Greek restaurant where enthusiastic waiting staff offer Meze and more,.....The cooking is all satisfying stuff, and there's some wider Mediterranean influences.' The SATURDAY TIMES, September 2005 (Highlighted in the Square Meal section) |

'There are few more alluring prospects in Manchester than walking past Dimitris on a balmy summer evening. The intoxicating aroma from the kitchens dominates the bottom of Deansgate. Sitting outside, with the sun falling lazily through the glass roof of the arcade, you could be anywhere apart from Northern England. Dimitris only problem is that its so popular you may have to wait a while if you haven't booked' THE GUARDIAN July 2000 - The Guide |

' This wonderful restaurant is a very popular place and has a lively, Continental-feeling bar area and a lovely, romantically lit arcade. Even with such a large range of food on the menu, nothing seems to disappoint and some dishes exceed all cheap-and-cheerful expectations. Make sure you book at weekends. Dimitris gets very, very busy.' CITY LIFE FOOD & DRINK - October 2007 |

‘Each dish was delicious, cooked to perfection from fresh produce. The service was laid back but efficient and the dishes arrived within 10 minutes of our order being placed. Drinks were replenished at the right time. Puddings were soon demolished and declared fantastic. The meal was a resounding success all round and the bill was very reasonable. Everyone liked all the dishes and we couldn’t find fault with anything.’ BOLTON EVENING NEWS, Weekend Food, April 2006 |

‘The décor, ambience and menu lean slightly more to general Mediterranean than pure Greek which I hadn’t quite expected but that was fine. I found it reassuringly (and surprisingly) unpretentious, decent no nonsense service, good tasty food, generous portions and good value. Ole’. SUGARVINE, January 2008 |
