16 Sexy British Restaurants, with special mention – ‘very affordable’…
Good-value mezze at tables beneath a pretty Victorian glass-covered
arcade. Persuade your date to wrap up by 5pm and three courses will be
yours for £12.50!

Dimitris is a fantastic little Greek Taverna that perfectly combines an
authentic feel with an inviting and relaxing environment. It is ideal
for an informal lunch/early evening gathering. There is a vast selection
of tapas on offer, as well as more substantial main meals. The inside/outside courtyard area, together with twinkling fairy lights,
is great during the summer months for a real Mediterranean feel in the
centre of Manchester.

Snobbery left at the door, I soon discovered why many
label the venue a Manchester institution. A combination of its Greek
authenticity, fresh Mediterranean mezze and tapas, live music and staff
who genuinely want you to have a good time, make it a winner on many
fronts.
